the wind beneath my wings:

client case studies

The only place words fail me is when I try to describe the extraordinary entrepreneurs that are a part of my business family. I am excited EVERY DAMN DAY that I get to be their right hand, look after their people, and make sure the bus is running on time.

Take a peep below at how we took their foundations and built something they can hang their feathered and rhinestoned hats on.

Featured Client Work: Twig gardens

WHAT WE DID:

My beloveds over at TWIG had really found their groove in the wedding florals industry, and business had blissfully outpaced their admin and operations comfort zone.

To improve the user experience, as well as the stress-levels of the Owner, we built Standard Operating Procedures from the initial client inquiry through to the thank you email. I took over their inbox, we implemented a new Project Management System AND new CRM, established a regular Pinterest presence, and built a blog from scratch. We’re also currently on track for a website redesign!

HOW IT WORKED:

This was a massive-scale upleveling for the TWIG organization. The never before documented internal processes allowed us to build step-by-step workflows in a project management system for each unique client as well as for internal operations.

  • The creation of the blog became a resource for new client consultations.

  • Their optimized Pinterest presence increased their total audience and impressions by +10,000% in the first five months.

  • The organization efforts empowered the Owner to create a position for captaining day-of events where she could take a step back and focus on strategy rather than execution.

It's incredible to know the flexibility in support that I receive from you. From inbox management, to social media, to copywriting, to website design, to Pinterest management... I feel like I can give you just about anything and you're willing and able to take it on.

Featured Client Work: kate ann photography

WHAT WE DID:

Kate has one of my favorite traits in a human being: the drive to never rest on her laurels. She’s constantly trying to do better, be better, learn everything she can to deliver the best product. I love to watch her in action.

Even though she’s a 10 year veteran of the wedding industry, she still needed consistent admin support to improve her client experience. We transferred her client tracking system to a dedicated project management platform where I could manage every step of her client process, organized an inbox with over 100k emails, added copy to her blogs to improve her website SEO, and I provide writing templates and support so she can feel confident in her communications.

HOW IT WORKED:

Kate had worked with assistants before, but they’d generally only followed her lead instead of trying to improve her day-to-day experience. I came in as a business resource, writer, and project manager to make sure she had consistent help across her brand.

  • We SEO-focused her blog, suggesting top-ranking keywords and topics for increased traffic.

  • I undertook a full-scale reorganization of her Google email to get her to the coveted Inbox Zero.

  • We took her communications to the next level by implementing customizable templates for all manner of emails, from marketing to client communications , and I serve as a proofreader and sounding board for outward-facing writing.
